ABSTRACT

Based on the conceptual framework of interreligious relations, this study uses a comparative mixed methods research strategy. Here, we combine the mixed methods and comparative case study design to achieve the research purpose of theory development by the careful integration of quantitative and qualitative methods. The unit of analysis are the nations of Suriname and Guyana; however, for purposes of in-depth illustration of interreligious relations, instrumental case studies are additionally conducted in a neighborhood of both nations.
