ABSTRACT

In this chapter, the authors state several conclusions. They point out practical applications and offer several applications for future research studies. In summary, this book has provided the people tips on how to assess and avoid fallacious thinking and speaking that can sidetrack logical and effective arguments. Grey Behaviors after Logical Fallacies in Public and Professional Communication can be used as a supplement to complement any book related to logic, reasoning, and fallacies. The process of assessing grey behavior provides an operational method to study the correlates, use, and avoidance of fallacious thinking. Industrial/organizational psychologists, human resource managers, and talent management consultants can use the method to supplement other methods to assess applicants to predict job performance and to train staff members. Sociologists can study cultural differences in patterns of fallacious thinking. The assessment of grey behaviors contributed to the assessment of applicants for several staff positions as expert advisors to line managers.
