ABSTRACT
This chapter focuses on informants’ early-life experiences that can be divided into a dual structure, according to their physical presence in a specific spatial setting. Some of them were born and raised in Spain, while others were partially raised in Qingtian: these children were either born in Europe and therefore experienced early care-related mobility, or were born in China and stayed there; either way, the children generally did not stay in China beyond seven years old.
