ABSTRACT

The final chapter explores the ongoing challenges faced by Salvadoran, Guatemalan, and Honduran youth. Since the writing of this book, governments and policies have rapidly changed. This chapter will explore the most recent updates. The chapter will also explore limitations of this text. While we have attempted to provide a robust foundation, the phenomenon of migration northwards from Central America is a complex process that cannot be covered in a single volume. Lastly, we leave the readers with final thoughts and ask them to reconsider the double bind under which Central American youth are forced to live.
