ABSTRACT
This counter-hegemonic essay addresses three thematic areas that characterize political violence: radicalization, armed struggle and terrorism. It avails itself of some categories elaborated by Behavioural Economics. Behavioural Economics applied within a critical criminological framework, it is contended, may also inspire responses aimed at reducing the most baleful forms of political contention.
