ABSTRACT
Chapter 2 discusses the stages of evolution of artificial intelligence and their individual impacts on the economic reality. Readers will have an opportunity to find out about what life guided by man-machine-work interactions may be like in the postmodern era. This chapter also reviews a range of concepts and issues associated with the development of AI 2.0 and the algorithms behind it (e.g. evolutionary, error backward propagation, etc.). It concludes with deliberations, supported by examples, about the prospects of artificial intelligence application in different branches of the economy, and a discussion of the staged development model of AI systems.
