ABSTRACT

Anyone working within the live entertainment audio industry will need to complete various forms of business paperwork. This chapter clearly describes how best to negotiate working terms through the use of a contract. Examples of contracts, important fields, and essential information are laid out for the reader. The process of documenting working hours through a timesheet is also explained. Further sections demonstrate how to construct and send invoices. Additional business paperwork such as non-disclosure agreements, music and sounds, cue sheets, drawings, and further show-specific items are also discussed.
