ABSTRACT
Live entertainment audio is a passion for the most highly successful people in the industry. This chapter considers the primary reasons why people choose to work within the entertainment industry. The return for hard work is often much more than simply receiving paychecks. Many will find a true inner drive to work with sound and this chapter explains how to locate this feeling within. Another section discusses the stresses that come with the entertainment industry and how to respond accordingly. Finally, many of the unique perks of working in exceptional situations and experiencing unprecedented opportunities are explained.
