ABSTRACT
This chapter focuses on Grief and discusses the emotion in relation to Pieces of a Woman (2020) by Hungarian director Kornél Mundruczó. The drama centers on a birth that goes disastrously wrong, leaving the mother of the child in a state of radical desolation and bereavement.
