ABSTRACT
This chapter focuses on Pity and examines the emotion in relation to the Greek film Pity (2018) directed by Babis Makridis. The plot revolves around a man who is initially pitied by others because his wife is in a coma. But when she recovers, he seems unable to live without the pity he has previously received, despite the change in his circumstances.
