ABSTRACT
This is an extract from the depositions in a lawsuit concerning the right of way over a bridge at Colton between Henry Lord Paget and William Gresley. The bridge provided a convenient short cut for Paget’s iron works, but was making the environment more difficult for the local tenants and farmers, as the present extract makes clear.
