ABSTRACT
After I had completed my stay at The Pines I decided it would be useful to gather together my research notes on some residents. I selected two whom I had known well and whose personalities and responses to residential living were very different. Had I made this decision earlier the notes would have been fuller but all my interaction would have been changed.
