ABSTRACT

Dinner in the evening at Primrose’s with the P.M., Mond, 1 Cornwall. 2 We discussed the prospect so far as it concerns L.G. and the Liberal Party. There is a disposition not to rush things which I think is wise. At the same time, we ought to get together the nucleus of an organization, especially in those constituencies where the men are definitely against him. As time goes on, however, the number of men who come over to his side will materially increase. We discussed the establishment of Liberal War Committees up and down the country and arranged for L.G. to make a speech in his constituency before the opening of Parliament.
