ABSTRACT
(2 August 1921.)… P.M. proposes a business Cttee. under E. Geddes to recommend economies. I oppose; so does Churchill, very vehemently; Baldwin also. However the thing is carried. The P.M. writes a note to Mond to tell him to support it. The point is the P.M. is dead tired & wants to throw a sop to Anti-Waste before the recess.
