ABSTRACT

A proven method for ensuring front-line leaders and users are well-prepared for go-live and life after go-live is to execute a planned implementation readiness program for all departments, specialties, and domains of practice. The Leader Implementation Readiness meetings are the first part of the Implementation Readiness Program. Leader Implementation Readiness Meeting #2 provides front-line leaders with all of the information they need to understand the change they and their teams are about to experience. Leader Implementation Readiness Meeting #3 is important because front-line leaders need to understand how workflow discussions impact the overall success of team preparation. A powerful way to encourage users to take the WBT is to ensure that all sponsors and front-line leaders take it before the Implementation Readiness Program begins. The dress rehearsal is a critical element in any implementation readiness program, but it is frequently overlooked because of the time and effort involved in planning and arranging it.
