ABSTRACT
It is said that our family are descendants in the direct line of the Alberts of Saxe-Teschen. 1 It may be so, but as we at the present time derive no advantage from that honour it matters little, beyond the satisfaction of knowing that in searching the pedigree of our ancestors no blemish was found in the character of any members of the family.
