ABSTRACT

This introductory section invites readers into eight essayistic spaces that promote dialogical, transdisciplinary, and interconnected conversations. These conversations seek to transform modes of knowledge in the paradigmatic shift towards glocalisation in social work. This section presents the overall aim, key questions, and conceptual and methodological framings that shape the form and content of this book and argues that the becoming of glocal social work in the post-anthropocentric condition is a fusion of embodiment-glocal-earthly entanglements that change worldviews, knowledge, education, learning, and practice.
