Adults who have committed offences

This chapter considers how adults who have committed offences are treated in the Australian criminal justice system, in both custodial and community approaches. It focuses on community interventions, with particular attention to Indigenous people and communities and their over-representation in the system. It provides examples of approaches from the Australian states and territories in turn.
