ABSTRACT
In this section we will discuss the tension between economic values and ecological values. For ecological values we will address the consequences of industrialization. As we will see, the desire to control the environment and produce on a massive scale can be devastating for our ecology. This is exactly why we need to explore alternatives to combine economic and ecological values in a sustainable manner. This can be done by moving towards a circular economy through implementing ways of producing that are eco-efficient.
