ABSTRACT

In this section we will discuss the friction that could exist between the companies’ pursuit of profit and social values in general, and in particular those of its workers and consumers. We will discuss the effects of industrialization on the realization of these social values and explore the related ethical dilemmas. Regarding social values of workers we will discuss various ethical challenges in both developed and developing countries. Furthermore, we will explore various forms of corruption that may affect social values of society. Finally we will discuss the challenges regarding social values of consumers, using the marketing mix as a leading framework.
