ABSTRACT
Planning of activities is essential to efficient work. Whatever the project, it must be well planned, and these plans must be properly planned. Inadequate planning of large building projects could even cause the project to run at a loss. A computer can be used for the planning process. Spreadsheet programs may be used or a specially designed planning software for making Gantt charts. Program planning can be done automatically. A task can be planned as early or as late as desired. It is also possible to put a constraint on a task. If the progress data and the project workers indicate that there are likely to be major changes to the plans, the planning will have to be adjusted. Small deviations from the time planning can be alleviated by such measures as working overtime. Planning has been altered, all of the project’s members will need to receive a copy of the new plan.
