ABSTRACT
This chapter discusses the two important concepts of anamnesis and semeiotics in the neuropsychological assessment. In particular, the anamnesis is based on information coming from the examinee's medical, psychological and cognitive history, whereas neuropsychological semeiotics incorporates information provided by behavioural and cognitive signs and symptoms, gathered throughout the assessment. This chapter follows the timeline outlined in Chapter 1 (Figure 1.2).
