ABSTRACT

With the rebalancing of the digital and physical worlds has come the opportunity for people to live in more nomadic ways, in the communities of people they are closest to. This chapter looks at various types of post-pandemic nomads, from remote workers who have a choice how and where to live to political and environmental refugees who have little choice, and how digital tools have enabled these groups to live and work almost anywhere. The chapter ends with a description of two efforts to end homelessness, in partnership with the medical and faith communities.
