ABSTRACT
This chapter provides academics with a diverse range of content and engagement prompts for social media. The daily prompts aim to help academics build a regular and reliable presence of social media, develop a network and community, and disseminate their work or research. The posts are divided into nine themes that represent a variety of ways in which you can engage with your audience. These nine themes include mechanics, research, personal, inspire, academic life, engagement/advice, gratitude, supportive, and fun. With 12 months’ worth of content and engagement prompts, the aim of this chapter is to save academics time and reduce the mental load of creating content.
