ABSTRACT
This chapter takes a three dimensional approach to countermapping in the works of Le Guin, Aldiss and Herbert, in distinction to previous chapters building upon zero-dimensional, linear and areal approaches. The View From Above is posited as a potentially critical but also potentially limiting way of seeing speculative fictions.
