ABSTRACT
This closing chapter highlights the many parallels between the mistreatment of Black people in minstrel caricature and how we, as a society, have mistreated Michael Jackson. Drawing upon Jackson's ‘One More Chance’ short film (released posthumously in 2010), the chapter calls for the reappraisal of Jackson's legacy through the reflection of ourselves in our role as his audience and his maker.
