As temperatures keep hitting new records across the globe, heat waves have an increased frequency and duration in virtually every region of the world. In Chapter 7, readers learn that the injustice of climate change is multiplied by the fact that the world’s poor, who have the lowest carbon footprint, suffer its worst consequences.
