ABSTRACT
The rise of white supremacy groups in New Zealand and Australia did not materialize unbidden from the depths of the internet, though social media accelerated its growth. Violent, ultra-right-wing extremism fueled by populist politicians in both countries might not be as well studied as the populism found in Europe and North America, but this version is no less potent.
