ABSTRACT

Jango Edwards has never done things the conventional way. In his wild and eccentric interview, he discusses his first vision of a clown – Emmett Kelly – his relationship with his mentor, Carlo Colombaioni, and countless exploits, including his adventures with Nola Rae and his travels to Russia and connections with Slava Polunin. In 2009, he created the Nouveau Clown Institute in Barcelona. Since that time, he has worked with and influenced many clown artists, including Tanja Simma (“Anna De Lirium”).
