ABSTRACT

Peter Shub was inspired to perform by watching magician Chris Capark on the streets in Philadelphia. Inspired by his friend Daniel Stein, Shub went on to study mime with Étienne Decroux and clown with Philippe Gaulier in Paris, as he developed his signature style. Shub's clowning emerged from a love of creating laughter, and he has since performed with Circus Roncalli, Big Apple Circus, and Cirque du Soleil, in addition to his solo show Vestiaire Non Surveillé. He was awarded the Silver Clown at the 1993 Monte Carlo International Circus Festival.
