ABSTRACT

Born and raised in Ukraine, Misha Usov started earning a living as a clown at age 16. His generous style of clowning, inspired by Leonid Engibarov and others, led to him training at the Circus Arts College in Moscow. He went on to a distinguished career, winning medals at the Festival Mondial du Cirque de Demain and the International Clown Festival and making multiple appearances on television across Europe. He performed for five years in Cirque Du Soleil's Totem before focusing on individual pursuits, including his book The Invisible Clown.
