ABSTRACT

René Bazinet led a wild and challenging life that found a home when he brought his sensitivity to the stage. He developed his signature style after studying with Jacques Lecoq and Philippe Gaulier. Before his engagement with Cirque du Soleil, he partnered on the variety circuit with David Shiner, where he invented routines that would eventually reach a huge audience in Cirque shows such as Zarkana and Saltimbanco. Other notable engagements have included Circus Roncalli and the Opéra de Paris.
