ABSTRACT
Many people declare themselves to be adversaries or advocates, or ambivalent advocates, of Marxist doctrine. Various signs indicate that in the last century it was developing in embryonic form. As for the philosophy of work that was germinating in him, he abandoned it, though he continued, over time more and more rarely, to place here and there in his writings formulations inspired by it. That is why the systems Marx classified under what he called mechanical materialism, with a touch of justified contempt, systems that seek to explain all human thought through a physiological mechanism, are nothing but foolishness. Thus depending on whether a society is dominated by owners of vast agricultural enterprises, the military, merchants, industrialists, bankers, or bureaucrats, it will be completely infused with the conception of the world tied to the professional morality of the owners, the military, and so on.
