ABSTRACT
This chapter mainly answers how the The Wandering Earth film chose its art style. The director Frant Gwo was very clear about the visual requirements and did not do too much design of science-fictional style but focused on shaping the sense of tension and crisis in the post-apocalyptic world. Therefore, in terms of aesthetic design, the overall style of the film is more mechanical, structural, and industrial.
