ABSTRACT
This chapter gives an overview of the structure of the book. It also examines the impact COVID-19 has had on early childhood and special education in the United States by reviewing journal entries and personal communications received during the COVID lockdown of 2019–2020. Turbulence theory is discussed as well as an overview of the use and effectiveness of case studies and autoethnography as learning tools for future crises.
