ABSTRACT

In the development of scholarship, the school of thought is both the principal form of the academic community and the decisive basis of academic discourse power. The scopes and orientations of schools of thought can be quite diverse, as can be observed in their common nomenclature. The formation, debate, and interaction of many schools of thought are often important signs of intellectual vibrancy and academic prosperity. In terms of academic thought itself, so-called academic discourse power refers to the influence and dominance of a certain academic community or school of thought in the entire academic world that is relevant to it. The development of the humanities and social sciences has its substantial basis in people’s real life-process. Admittedly, the topics of the Chinese school and its academic discourse power can be approached from many angles, and it is entirely necessary to investigate them in terms of the formal aspects of scholarship—academic norms, academic systems, general methodologies, interdisciplinarity, internationalisation.
