ABSTRACT
This chapter provides a synthesis of the main findings and themes of the book and also examines public policies oriented to regulate the excessive influence of big money on museums and cultural organizations in an era of high inequality. Possible public interventions are identified to free artists from the need to engage in excessive marketization and for making art enjoyment more democratically accessible to everybody independent of socio-economic status.
