ABSTRACT
Michael struggled coming to grips with his new reality following a traffic accident that left him with a mild traumatic brain injury. He sincerely believed his symptoms would fade into the darkness and he could leave his nightmare behind. Unfortunately, serious traffic accidents have repercussions that are difficult to quantify. Within a few short weeks, Michael lost his new job as vice principal prompting he and his spouse to make some very difficult decisions. Written in narrative form, this chapter continues by taking the reader on one family’s journey from brokenness to hope.
