ABSTRACT

What areas of change did participants find most relevant to be addressed? How did those around them respond to their efforts? Chapter 4 delves into the types of change faculty, staff, and administrators saw as requiring attention and their motivations for effecting change. While some employees encountered positive responses to the change, many still discussed resistant responses. These responses provide context for later chapters in how to navigate these reactions when making change. This chapter examines insights from a theology of discrimination and communal repentance.
