ABSTRACT

At the end of the interviews, changemakers were asked what they would like to change around Catholic higher education to make it more open to sexuality in general. Chapter 7 will examine the changes called for by the participants to make Catholic higher education more welcoming of conversations around sexuality. Changemakers suggested both theoretical and practical changes that Catholic higher education could make that address human sexuality more honestly. This chapter includes Catholic theological support for why these concepts are not only needed but are deeply rooted within the Catholic tradition addressing conscience and Catholic erotophobia.
