ABSTRACT

As discussed in the last chapter, the outcomes of a strategy (variously called an HR, or Human Capital, or People, or Talent, or Workforce, or Organisational strategy) have become the specific people capabilities – including talent, leadership and culture – that an organisation needs to succeed in its marketplace. While the outcomes of these activities will vary according to the nature of the business strategy, the HR strategy itself should be integral to business strategy and adapt to meet the evolving needs of the business.
