ABSTRACT
This is the final session of the PFC program. The homework about helping children to broaden their social circle is reviewed, as is parents’ progress on the steps to setting up a high-quality playdate. The topic of deciding whether to have another playdate with the same peer is discussed, as well as what to do if the parent and child do not agree on whether to have another playdate with that peer. How to understand another family’s response to a playdate invitation is also covered. Finally, there is a discussion about how to continue implementing these friendship coaching skills in the future, once sessions have ended.
