Practical advice on choosing the best locations – such as getting a busy CEO away from the office if you don’t want to be interrupted – is included in this chapter. Preparation and practice are also emphasised in this chapter with key tips including getting to know your sources well before you conduct your first interview with them. This is why the second step of GRAB5 is Research and Preparation. Establishing the purpose or angle of the interview is another essential technique covered in this chapter.
