ABSTRACT
The chapter summarises the characteristics of the broad view of corpus approaches this volume proposes involving the combination of notions and concepts derived from a number of fields of inquiries. This view, informed by digital technologies – their aspects and implications – is aimed at offering corpus approaches practical and theoretical ways to tackle the implications that the digital imposes on the production, use, and analysis of digital textual data. General remarks are outlined to underline the major key points discussed in the volume and to evaluate limitations and potential future pathways.
