ABSTRACT
Human languages are diverse, but all equally capable of expressing abstract thought, scientific reasoning, the range of emotions, and falsehoods. Human communications involve facial expressions, body language, socially recognized significant sounds, writing, and other symbols. Anthropological linguists study diversity and the sounds and structures (syntax) of human languages, and how actual usages influence ways of thinking and interacting.
