ABSTRACT

Chapter 6 offers complementary evidence to the product-oriented perspective adopted in this study by providing further insights into the participants’ perception of and approach to the translation task. Data have been gathered by recording the participants’ delivery time and through a post-task questionnaire. These include, among other things, the participants’ delivery time, reading strategies, research patterns (in terms of the quantity and type of external resources used), perception of the task difficulty, the quality of their translations, and revision strategies. The trends that emerged in the analysis are then triangulated to explore the potential patterns of association between different process-related variables and TC.
