ABSTRACT
In this chapter, the main differences between the insurance market and the other financial markets are presented. The authors define the insurance markets integration. They present the main measures concerning the degree of the insurance markets integration. An important part of this chapter concerns the advantages and disadvantages of the international insurance markets integration.
