ABSTRACT
This chapter shifts focus from past and current practices in educational measurement to consider actions the field can take to reduce its functions as apparatus for systemic racism and instead operate as apparatus for an anti-racist endeavor. Three areas of specific focus include reflection, research, and diversity. Questions for reflection and topics for research are offered. Current efforts to increase diversity are also highlighted and used to encourage an expansion of such efforts.
