ABSTRACT
The morning had turned difficult for Junior. He had again witnessed his colleagues tear apart another promising idea. Junior pulls his Toyota Camry up to Trattoria di Giorgio, parking behind Marcel’s Maserati Quattroporte. Junior has a hard time with that question: Most of Davanti’s patents have expired, and many competitors in many countries have caught up to Davanti’s technology. His difficult day has turned into a lovely spring evening. He wanders in and finds Marcel at a small table on the veranda, with a view of a vineyard covering nearby hills. Marcel is a successful business entrepreneur, who grew his startup food equipment business into a holding company that includes manufacturing plants and related service companies.
