ABSTRACT
As the end-of-summer days get shorter, the start time for the Wednesday ride has been moved up by a half hour. Nobody wants to carry a bike light. Most people still like to wear the yellow jerseys they’ve received, including Junior and Mo, although they wear a long sleeve layer under it now. And many are still trialing competitor bicycles. Just as Marco begins to respond, Vinnie rides in the front of group. The bikers soon follow after Vinnie, and most are in front of him by the first turn out of the parking lot. Thursday morning after the ride, Mo, Marco, and others show up in the lab just as Vinnie suggested. Giovanni refocuses the group’s attention and shows the proposal that Sofia helped him draft. Junior quietly has been watching the report outs and metrics proposals, but he’s clearly got something on his mind.
